"Try-Its" are awards that
Brownie Scouts can earn.
The purpose of the Try-Its is for
the girls to try all sorts of new things.
As we work on and finish the Try-Its,
I will put that information on this page.



Girl Scout Ways

The first Try-It the
girls earned was "Girl Scout Ways."
At our first meeting,
the girls made sit-upons,
learned the Girl Scout Promise,
talked about Being Prepared,
made S'mores, learned the friendship
circle and squeeze, and learned
the Girl Scout sign.

GirlSports

The girls also earned
the "Girl Sports" Try-It.
They practiced kicking a balloon
and keeping it up in the air.
And they threw bean bags back and forth
and knocked over soda bottles with them.

Puppets, Dolls, and Plays

Several of the girls earned the"puppets,
Dolls, and Plays" Try-it by making puppets,
making a puppet theater, and putting on
a puppet show.

Dancersize

We had a Holiday dance party.
Several of the girls
earned the "Dancercize" Try-It
at the dance party.

We also just earned the following try-It's:

and the "Cookies Count" try-It.
