Service Projects of Brownie of Troop 1168
The girls of Brownie Troop 1168 will
try to do a least
two service projects.
of cookies to the hard-working
teachers at the elementary school.
The girls all made cards for the
teachers.
The girls will be donating items
to the folowing charity:
A Child's Place
A transitional program
for homeless children,
grades K-6, that works
in collaboration
with Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools.
Seeks to meet the physical, emotional
and educational needs
of homeless and
at-risk children and
advocates for their
families as they progress
toward economic
and social stability.
Material Needs: Books with tapes, pots
and pans, linens, dishes, cleaning supplies,
general household items, toothbrushes and
toothpaste, hair-care products, socks and
underwear for boys and girls, book bags,
money to provide after-school care
and to meet special needs.
